Directions and parking
Parking capacity is limited. Particularly at weekends and on public holidays, we recommend traveling by public transport or using the more distant parking spaces as described below.
Arrival by S-Bahn / train / bus
- S-Bahn S4 + S5
- Bus lines 422, 425, 426, 431 and 433 to the main entrance of the Blühenden Barock in Schorndorfer Straße
- Bus lines 421, 427, 430 and 444 go to the Residenzschloss, from there you can go through the castle courtyard to a Blüba ticket office
- or from the train station on foot through the old town
- If you book your Blüba admission as an online ticket, your VVS ticket is included in the price!

You can also reach the Blühende Barock on foot from Ludwigsburg train station. It will take you about 15 minutes.
The path leads past Ludwigsburg city center and you can take a short detour to the market square or go on a short shopping spree after your visit to the BlüBa.

Our tip: If you book your Blüba ticket online in advance, a VVS ticket for the bus is included. Then you can use one of the recommended remote parking spaces and travel to Blüba by bus without traffic jams.

Option 1:
- U-turn before the traffic circle (Schlangenkreuzung), then turn right: alternatively Rathausgarage, Akademiehofgarage, parking garage Solitude
- on foot through the historic city center
Option 2:
- at the traffic circle turn left into Wilhelmstraße and immediately right into Eberhardstraße. There you will find the Lotter parking garage.
- on foot through the historic city center
Option 3, often busy at weekends:
- After the Jobcenter, turn right into Hindenburgstraße, then left into Jägerhofallee, where you will find the parking garage of the district administration office
- 8 min walk to the Blüba
Option 4, often full at weekends:
- after the Forum turn right into Friedrich-Ebert-Straße, there is the parking lot Bärenwiese.

Ludwigsburg is a low emission zone
- Low emission zone
The regulations of the environmental zone apply in Ludwigsburg. Vehicles driving in the Ludwigsburg low emission zone must display a green environmental badge. - Do visitors and tourists also need a sticker?
Everyone who wants to drive in an environmental zone needs a sticker - regardless of whether they are local or not. As a rule, this also applies to foreign vehicles.
Parking for coaches
There is a special service for tour groups coming to the Baroque in Bloom by coach: Once they arrive in Ludwigsburg, coaches can park conveniently and quickly in the front courtyard of the palace - just 150 m from the entrance to the Baroque in Bloom. This means no stress, short distances and a relaxed stay for your tour participants. Navigation address: Schloss Straße 30. ATTENTION: this service only applies to coaches!
Additional coach parking is available on the eastern parking area of the Forum / Blühendes Barock parking lot (entrance & navigation address: Friedrich-Ebert-Straße) This parking lot is about 300 m from the main entrance to the Blühendes Barock.
