Baroque Garden Days
For many amateur gardeners and plant lovers, the large sales exhibition in front of the impressive backdrop of the residential palace has become a popular highlight of the gardening year. Set in the magnificent pre-summer colours of the South Garden, over 130 exhibitors present a diverse array of products, with everything you could possibly want when it comes to plants, gardens and ambience.
To usher in the main planting season, there is a particularly tempting and astonishingly wide range of useful plants and ornamental plants, such as fruit trees, herbs, shrubs, roses, balcony and pot plants, as well as special rare varieties. It goes without saying that the mainly regional garden experts and reputable landscape gardeners at the sales stalls also supply expert advice and handy hints for creating your own green idyll. Whether you are looking for useful garden items, original accessories or the latest in specialist literature – the Barocke Gartentage (Baroque Garden Days) offer everything you'll need to create a lovely green haven in front of your door or on your balcony, including garden furniture, plant pots, professional tools and motorised devices for the garden. And if you are looking to redesign your garden, you are sure to come home with a host of new ideas.
Our reliable childcare service allows you to enjoy your shopping and take an inspiring stroll around the colourful South Garden. Take advantage of our free "plant cloakroom" at the information stall to look after your purchases so you can shop and visit the park in peace. And use the "plant taxi" to transport your purchases to the Bärenwiese car park.
Experts offer daily lectures and presentations with a panel of specialists on interesting topics such as the correct method of pruning, looking after citrus plants, healthy living with herbs, plants for garages and homes, combating slugs, etc. Experienced "plant doctors" will be on hand to offer advice with problems. The Barocke Gartentage (Baroque Garden Days) are open from 9 am to 6 pm.

For relaxed shopping...
The plant wardrobe
For relaxed shopping, visitors can use the “plant wardrobe” in Ost-Allee and leave their purchased treasures there free of charge until the end of their shopping or until the end of the event. This makes it easy to continue shopping.
The Plant Taxi
The “Plant Taxi” also makes the shopping experience at the Baroque Garden Days easy - because larger purchases are brought to the parking lots with the “Blooming Baroque Plant Taxi”. The plant cab travels to the Bärenwiese parking lot, the Rathaus and Akademiehof car parks, the main station parking lot and the MHP Arena underground car park, the Walckerpark parking deck, the parking lot at the tax office and the parking lot at the district administration office - so visitors can also use the parking lots outside the city centre. The easiest way to do this is to follow the city of Ludwigsburg's parking guidance system. Visitors can also use the Stadtnavi Ludwigsburg app to find out about available parking spaces before setting off.
With the plant cab, one person at a time can drive to the parked car with the purchases. It is therefore not necessary to look for a parking space near BlüBa. Garden Day visitors can simply follow the City of Ludwigsburg's parking guidance system. But online ticket users traveling by public transport can also use the plant cab to get back to Ludwigsburg station with their larger purchases - the plant cab stops at the parking lots at the west entrance to Ludwigsburg station. The plant cab starts not far from the plant checkroom in Ost-Allee (Mömpelgardstraße). The plant cabs will be on the road for visitors from 11 am.
